These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Certidemy website at certidemy.com and our learning and certification services (the “Services”), operated by CertiGlobal [FULL LEGAL ENTITY NAME] (“Certidemy”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and able to form a binding contract to use the Services.
You agree to provide accurate information when you register and to keep it current. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials confidential. Accounts are personal to you and may not be shared. Notify us promptly at info@certiglobal.org of any unauthorized use.
2. The Services
Certidemy provides learning content, practice materials, assessments, and professional certifications built to the ISO/IEC 17024 framework. Certain certifications, features, or content may be added, changed, limited, or discontinued over time.
Some materials are made freely available; certain assessments and the issuance of credentials may require payment.
3. Certifications and credentials
Credentials are earned by meeting the published requirements of a certification, including passing the relevant examination at or above its passing standard.
Each credential is issued with a validity period (for example, one year from issuance) and an expiry date, after which it is shown as expired unless renewed where renewal is offered.
Credentials are independently verifiable. By earning a credential, you agree that the information described in our Privacy Policy (your name, the certification, credential code, issue and expiry dates, and status) will be publicly verifiable to confirm authenticity.
We may suspend, revoke, or refuse to issue a credential where we reasonably determine that it was obtained through fraud, cheating, impersonation, or violation of these Terms, or where required by law or the integrity requirements of the certification scheme.
A credential attests that you met the assessment requirements at the time of issuance. It is not a guarantee of employment, competence in every context, or any particular outcome.
4. Examination integrity and acceptable use
To protect the value and integrity of our certifications, you agree not to: cheat or attempt to cheat on any assessment; access, copy, record, reproduce, or distribute secure examination content; solicit or share exam questions or answers; impersonate another person or allow another person to take an assessment on your behalf; or use unauthorized assistance during a proctored or secured assessment.
You further agree not to: misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or their systems; scrape, harvest, or bulk-extract content; reverse engineer or circumvent security or access controls; or use the Services to infringe others’ rights or violate any law.
Violation of this section may result in voiding of results, revocation of credentials, suspension or termination of your account, and other remedies available to us.
5. Payments, vouchers, and refunds
Prices are shown at the point of purchase. Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor, and by purchasing you authorize the applicable charges. Vouchers and organizational sponsorships are subject to any terms provided with them.
[Insert your refund policy here — for example, whether and when purchases or exam attempts are refundable, and any statutory withdrawal rights for consumers in applicable jurisdictions such as the EU right of withdrawal.]
6. Intellectual property
The Services, including all learning content, assessments, question banks, blueprints, software, text, graphics, logos, and the Certidemy and CertiGlobal marks, are owned by the Company or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services and their content for your own learning and certification. You may not copy, distribute, publicly display, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works from the content except as expressly permitted.
You may share and display credentials you have earned for the purpose of representing your certification.
7. Third-party services
The Services integrate third-party services, including Google (for sign-in), our payment processor, and infrastructure providers. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.
8. Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any particular result or credential will be recognized by any third party.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities, arising out of or relating to your use of the Services.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company’s total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Services in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you; nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company and its affiliates from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Services or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING JURISDICTION], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. [Specify the courts or dispute-resolution mechanism that will have jurisdiction, and any consumer-protection carve-outs that preserve mandatory local rights for users in the EU, Colombia, Brazil, and elsewhere.]
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
